The Illinois section of the Mathematical Association of American (ISMAA) sponsors a high school lecture program. This program gives high schools in Illinois an opportunity to bring in mathematicians from a college, university, or business for a lecture or a group of lectures. These could be given as part of a mathematics class, mathematics club, or honor society meeting. The visiting mathematician could stay for a good part of a day and talk with students and faculty on an informal basis. This program comes to you free of charge.
